The District of Columbia provided Margaret A. Anthony with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from George Mason University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Margie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain a check register
• Failed to maintain subsidiary client ledgers
• Failed to maintain unearned fees in escrow account until earned
• Failed to maintain time records regarding work performed for each client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeal punished Margie by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.
