Attorney Greg Goddard of Buffalo, WY; convicted fraudster

The state of Wyoming provided Greg L. Goddard with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law. Greg also received a law license from Colorado in 1972.

The Disciplinary Board found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted in federal court of filing false Chapter 7 petition for bankruptcy client
  • Knowingly failed to list, as a contingent asset of the client, a $25,000 bequest which the client would receive under the terms of a decedent’s will
  • Pled guilty to criminal contempt of court and was sentenced to 45 days in jail
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in criminal conduct that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer in other respects

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Wyoming Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Greg practices with Goddard and Vogel PC at 412 North Main Street in Buffalo, Wyoming.
