Attorney Alexander Haddad of Colorado Springs, CO; cheapskate loser
The state of Wyoming provided Brad H. Bearnson with a law license in 2055 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law. Alex also received a law license from Colorado in 2019.
In one matter, the Wyoming State Bar found Alex guilty of failing to complete a minimum of 15 hours of continuing legal education, including two hours of legal ethics, in each calendar year. Rule 10(a) requires attorneys who have failed to comply with Rule 4 to pay a $300 delinquency fee. Rule 10(c) requires attorneys who have been recommended for suspension to pay an additional $300 noncompliance fee, for a total of $600.00.
It’s hard to imagine that any lawyer couldn’t come up with a couple hundred dollars to obtain 15 hours of continuing legal education in order to keep his license active, thereby proving that Alex is at best a cheapskate and loser.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Wyoming Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting him with a short-term suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. October 2018), Alex practices with Galyn Johnson PC at 428 East Bijou Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado. |
