Solicitor Wong Hoo Yee of Hong Kong; deceitful loser

The Law Society of Hong Kong presented Wong Hoo Yee with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Hong Kong School of Law.

The Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Wong Hoo Yee guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Knowingly and intentionally misled court
• Failed to make proper disclosure of actual situation to the magistrate judge
• Failed to disclose that Trial Counsel had made prompt replies on each occasion when his firm wrote to the Trial Counsel
• Failed to send relevant trial transcript to the Counsel at the Appeal after receiving it

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Wong Hoo Yee by gifting him with a complimentary censure and fined HK$40,000 ($5,110.00 US).

As we speak (ca. November 2019), Wong Hoo Yee practices with Cheung Chan & Wong Solicitors at 80-82 Morrison Hill Road in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
