Judge Moses Evans Jr. of East Baton Rouge, LA; guilty of assault

The Louisiana Supreme Court recently (ca. August 2019) suspended Moses for engaging in the following criminal and/or quasi-criminal conduct.

  • Abused former live-in girlfriend for more than ten years
  • Former girlfriend said Moses had hit her hundreds of times, breaking her nose, fracturing her fingers and disfiguring her ear
  • Moses also accused of choking the children, beating them with a flashlight and pipes
  • Accused of waterboarding on of the children
  • Criminally charged with aggravated second-degree battery, domestic abuse battery causing serious bodily injury, cruelty to juveniles and second-degree cruelty to juveniles

All that remains now is to see how long it takes before Moses cops a plea to limit the amount of time, he’ll have to spend in the Louisiana State Prison in Angola, Louisiana.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Moses remains in jail awaiting a judicial decision to set a bond.
