Attorney Ronald Billingsley of Alberta, CAN; cheating liar

The Law Society of Alberta presented Ronald Billingsley with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Alberta School of Law.

The Alberta Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Ronnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Wasn’t completely forthright with his client
  • Communicated with client in manner that lacked courtesy, civility and professionalism
  • Sought legal fees from his client that were not disclosed in a timely and reasonable manner
  • Failed to be candid during a Fee Review Hearing
  • Failed to serve his client’s best interests
  • Charged his client legal fees that were neither fair nor reasonable (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand, a $2,000 fine and assessed costs of $866.25.

As one would suspect, Ronnie fails to mention the alleged misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.familylawyer-edmonton.com. Apparenlty, Ronnie decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for fear it would limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Ronnie practices with the Ronald S. Billingsley Professional Corporation at 9533 101st Street in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
