The state of Indiana presented Steven K. Raquet with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct. 

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the conduct of a nonlawyer employee over whom he had direct supervisory authority was compatible
• with Stevie’s professional obligations
• Failed to deposit all funds held in trust in accounts clearly identified as trust or escrow accounts.
• Failed to deposit all receipts into a trust account intact.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 180-day suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.
