Judge Kent Jasperson of Pahrump, NV; moronic slacker

The state of Indiana presented Steven K. Raquet with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline found Kent guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Failed to perform judicial duties fairly and impartially
  • Failed to perform competently (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to allow everyone appearing before him opportunity to be heard (due process)
  • Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Kent by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, apparently Kent holds the legal opinion that “due” process is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the am.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Kent continues to sit as a Pahrump Township Justice of the Peace of Ney County in Pahrump, Nevada.
