Attorney Jacob Smith of Federal Way, WA; cheating slacker

The State of Washington presented Jacob Brian Smith with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law. 

The Washington State Bar found Jacob guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Charged and/or collected excessive fee (cheater)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Jacob by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Jacob practices at 3007 SW 316^th Street in Federal Way, Washington.
