Barrister/Solicitor Andrew Morrison of New Zealand; scofflaw, repeater

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Andrew MacLean Morrison with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from the University of Auckland Law School. 

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

Andy’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Convicted of second offense of driving under the influence (DUI)
• After DUI conviction, said “shit happens” outside the courthouse

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Andy’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Made misleading [lied] to District Court
• Failed to follow court instructions [Screw you, said Simon!]
• Made false declarations to the Law Society [Up yours, said Simon]
• Engaged in numerous failures in respect of 14 different clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Andy practices at The Terrace in Wellington, New Zealand.
