Attorney Shari Brown of Seattle, WA; slacker, repeat offender

The State of Washington presented Shari Brown with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Seattle University School of Law. 

The Washington State Bar found Shari guilty of the following misconduct.

Shari’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to maintain required trust account records

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Shari by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license.

Shari’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Charged and/or collected an excessive fee
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to do so
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Shari by gifting her with a complimentary 18-month suspension of her law license.
