Judicial candidate Ron Johnson of Baton Rouge; ethical goblin
The state of Louisiana presented Ron Johnson with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Southern University School of Law.
FYI: Southern University School of Law is ranked as the 161st best law school in the country out of 202 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.
While attempting to dupe the voters in Baton Rouge to elect him to a seat on the 19th Judicial District Court, Ronnie went about knowingly violating the code of conduct governing judicial candidates.
In this instance, Ronnie personally solicited campaign contributions while wearing a judicial robe in various ads. Of course, there is no dispute that Ronnie wasn’t a sitting judge at the time of his sham advertisements. Ronnie’s sole intent was to deceive the voters into believing that he was an incumbent judge who was merely seeking to be reelected.
The Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee specifically found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Candidate Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary “informal resolution.”
An unreliable source indicated that as part of his punishment, the Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee voted to provide Ronnie with four free $10 coupons to pay the coverage charge for his admittance to the Penthouse Strip Club on 4622 Bennington Avenue in Baton Rouge.
As we speak (ca. July 2019), Donnie practices his brand of law at 338 North Eugene Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
