Judge Brian Lamb of Bishop, CA; perjurer, serial offender

The State of California presented Warner H. Anthony Jr. with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Law.

FYI: Under California law are expected to decide matters submitted to them within 90 days of submission and are prohibited from receiving their salaries when the have undecided matters under submission for more than 90 das.

The Commission on Judicial Performance has found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act timely in at least three family law cases
  • Signed two false salary affidavits [perjury]
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • In the Marriage of Richardson case, Brian delayed issuance of a decision for over 14 months
  • In the Marriage of Faldowski case, Brian delayed issuance of a decision for over 12 months
  • In the Marriage of Kruse case, Brian delayed issuance of a decision for 154 days

As one would suspect, this isn’t Brian’s 1st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary private admonishment in 2015 and an advisor lettr in 2006 or engaging in similar misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission laughingly punished Brian by gifting him with yet another complimentary admonition.

Because Judicial Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Brian was never criminally charged with perjury or fraud.

As we speak (ca. July 2019), Warner practices at 410 Blandwood Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina.

As we speak (ca. July 2019), Brian continues to sit as Inyo County Superior Court judge in Bishop, California.
