Attorney James Backstrom of Hastings, MN; bullying loser

The state of Minnesota presented James C. Backstrom with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jimmy threatened to withdraw support for an official appointed by the county board unless the official barred her subordinates from testifying as defense experts in criminal cases

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Jimmy practices with the Dakota County Attorney’s Office at 1560 Highway 55 in Hastings, Minnesota.
