Attorney John Nelson Jr. of St. Paul, MN; cheating scofflaw

The state of Minnesota presented John Norman Nelson Jr. with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Provided imprisoned client with prescription drugs in violation of jail regulations
  • Accepted fees when he knew client funds were subject to federal court order freezing the client’s assets

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Johnny practices with Heefner Nelson Law at 155 Wabasha Street in St. Paul, Minnesota.
