Attorney D. Randall Ensminger of Fairbanks, AK; ethical troll

The state of Alaska presented D. Randall Ensminger with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Randy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Committed multiple acts of misconduct
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to provide client with accounting of claimed fees
• Failed to respond to client status inquiries
• Failed to refund $1,200 in fees to client until after ethics complaint filed

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Randy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Randy practices with Ensminger Law Offices at 618 Gaffney Road in Fairbanks, Alaska.
