Attorney Frederick Triem of Petersburg, AK; lying loser

The state of Alaska presented Jody W. Sutherland with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Creighton University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Freddy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected client’s interests
• Mishandled client’s money
• Failed to promptly return the client's earnest money
• Failed to promptly account to the client for the funds
• Withheld attorney fees from the earnest funds despite knowing that the client would object
• Failed to advise opposing counsel he would not send discovery by mail or fax
• Acted intentionally dishonestly to an opposing lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.
