Attorney John Steger IV of Kenner, LA; serial drunk

 

The state of Louisiana presented John Julius Steger IV with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Arrested multiple times on alcohol-related matters
• Charged with disturbing the peace and obscenity
• Arrested twice after consuming bottles of wine and taking a sleep aid and crashed his car into a tree
• Bit an emergency room nurse
• Blacked out in emergency room
• Two separate breath analysis tests came back indicating twice the legal limit

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license. 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Johnny practices his brand of law at 909 West Esplanade Avenue in Kenner, Louisiana.
