Judge Mary Curry of Port Gibson, MS; nepotism, bully

The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance found Judge Curry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Signed arrest warrants based on affidavits of her relatives
  • Dismissed domestic violence petitions w/o conduct required hearings
  • Presided over a case involving a relative
  • Improperly waived expungement fee
  • Ordered clerk to void receipts
  • Retaliated against complaining party

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Mary by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. May 2019), Mary continues to sit as a judge of the Claiborne County Justice Court, in Port Gibson, Mississippi.
