Judge Jimmy McGee of Corinth, MS; lying slacker, repeat offender

First and foremost, it should be noted that this isn’t Jimmy’s 1^st bite the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a 270-day suspension from the bench for engaging in a variety of misconduct. The Mississippi Judicial Commission on Judicial Conduct found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (serial slacker)
• Failed to issue rulings in 27 civil cases in a timely manner
• In one case, it took Jimmy nearly seven (7) years to issue a ruling in one case
• Issued rulings without holding hearings even though he told those involved he would hear the case [liar]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2019) Jimmy continues to sit as a Judge on the Justice Court in Alcorn County, Mississippi.
