The state of Tennessee provided Michael Wayne Ritter with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise client of hearing dates
• Failed to respond to client communications
• Did nothing to prepare client’s case for scheduled hearing
• Missed all court-imposed deadlines
• Essentially abandoned client’s case
• Placed his client at risk for considerable prejudice

As we speak (ca. May 2019) Mikey practices at 109 West Tennessee Avenue in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
