Attorney Alisa Tate of Jackson, TN; slacker, loser

The state of Tennessee provided Alisa Lashelle Tate with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Alisa guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to take any action on client’s behalf after she temporarily closed her practice
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fees upon termination
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Alisa!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Alisa by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2019) Alisa practices at 33 Lamplighter Court in Jackson, Tennessee.
