Solicitor Luke McDonald of Queensland, AUS; moronic cheater

The Law Society presented Luke James McDonald with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from Dalhousie University School of Law.

The Queensland Civil and Administrative found Luke guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in professional misconduct conduct
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
• Systematically falsified electronic timesheets entries submitted by junior legal staff under his supervision
• False timesheet entries resulted in overcharges to clients of his firm of more than $515,000.00
• Engaged in fraudulent billing habits over an 18-month period
• Knowingly and intentionally made false entries into time recording system
• Permitted 23 clients to be charged by the Corrs Chambers Westgarth firm for work in excess of time spent and/or for work which was never performed

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Luke by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $20,000 fine.

Because Solicitor Misfits in Australia are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Luke was never criminal charged with fraud or grand theft.
