Attorney John Beauvais Jr. of Sioux City, IA; repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented John Philip Beauvais Jr. with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Improperly divulged confidential client information
  • Failed to explore whether there were grounds for a private termination of parental rights on client’s behalf

As one would suspect, this isn’t Johnny’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Johnny practices at 705 Douglas Street in Sioux City, Iowa.
