Earlier today (ca. Feb 2, 2012) Donald Trump laughingly stated that he was about to make a very important announcement as to who he was going to support as the nominee for the Republican Presidential nomination. He then went on to invite everyone in the media to attend this monumental announcement.
Goshes and Gollies, I bet the anticipation almost caused one or more members of the media to experience an organism if ya know what I mean.
It was widely anticipated that The Comic was going to endorse Newt Gingrich due to the fact that Romney refused to attend the Comic’s scheduled laugh-in (aka, debate).
At a press conference in Vegas, the Comic said: “We really have an opportunity to do something great for the country. It’s my honor, real honor, and privilege to endorse Mitt Romney.”
The Comic’s laughable one-liners are akin to Charlie Sheen announcing that he was privileged in endorsing the nomination of Lindsey Lohan as chief spokesperson for “Just Say No.”
Congrats Donnie; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s most unaccomplished Standup Comedians; you are far too humble.
