Attorney Michael Dugas of Eagan, MN; ethical troll

The state of Minnesota presented Michael Kevin Dugas with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Colluded with others to bring a lawsuit for sole purpose of conducting discovery to find the identity of others against whom claims could be made
• Knowingly initiated a lawsuit in bad faith
• Made false and misleading statements during proceeding (Up yours, said Mikey!)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $900.00. 

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Mikey practices in Eagan, Minnesota.
