Attorney Edward Finnerty of Lake Placid, NY; thieving perjurer

The state of New York presented Edward P. Finnerty with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the Albany School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected conservatorship
• Converted client funds to personal use [thief]
• Attempt to mislead and deceive petitioner, giving false testimony before petitioner and filing accounting as conservator that contained false information

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in New York are held to a much lower standard then everyone else, Eddie was never criminally charged with perjury or fraud/attempted fraud.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Eddie practices in Lake Placid, New York.
