Attorney Alison Bukata of Syracuse, NY; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Alison A. Bukata with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from the Syracuse University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Allison guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to maintain client funds in special account
• Failed to main complete records of client funds
• Failed to render appropriate accountings to client

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Allison by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Allison practices with the Law Office of Alison Bukata Law at 1107 Wolf Street in Syracuse, New York.
