Attorney Charla Bikman of East Hampton, NY; ethical goblin

The state of New York presented Charla R. Bikman with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from the Cardozo University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Charla guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Charla by gifting her with a complimentary 18-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Charla practices at 25 Maple Lane in East Hampton, New York.
