Attorney Patricia Cavanaugh of New Rochelle, NY; ethical goblin

The state of New York presented Patricia Marie Cavanaugh with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Fordham University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to file retainer and closing statements with Office of Court Administration

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Patty by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.  

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Patty practices at 201 Elm Street in New Rochelle, New York.
