Attorney Josue Hernandez of Denver; ethical dwarf

The state of Colorado presented Josue D. Hernandez with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law.

The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeal found Josue guilty of the following misconduct

• Engaged in a pattern of unreasonably increasing the cost of litigation in an appeal by filing redundant, meandering pleadings and ignoring the repeated suggestions that briefs be kept to a reasonable length
• Filed an unauthorized 72-page brief to the notice of appeal

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appeals Court punished Josue by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.
