Solicitor Thomas D’Alton of Ireland; cheating loser

The Law Society of Ireland provided Thomas D’Alton J. Zeisler with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of  Iowa School of Law.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Used €54,680 ($61,414 US) monies of different clients between 2014 and 2016 for purposes including using €10,000 ($11,232.00 US) in client monies in 2015 towards a personal tax liability
  • Used €8,000 ($8,895.00) from the estate of a dead man in September 2015 to reduce the overdraft (rubber check) on his office account

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Tommy’s First bite at the Solicitor Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined regarding five adverse findings, one of which led to him being required to pay €14,145 ($14,887 US) restitution to a man’s estate.

As a consequence of his misconduct, High Court Justice Peter Kelly, an apologist for Attorney Misfits punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective March 2019.

As we speak, (ca. April 2019), Tommy will resume his law practice with James J. Kearns & Son Solicitors at Clonfert Avenue Portumna Co. in Galway, Ireland beginning in March 2020.
