Attorney Louie Yanza of Guam; convicted felonious assaulter, liar

The Office of the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor found Louie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Convicted of felony aggravated assault
• While at the Sawadee Bar on Marine Drive in Tamuning, Guam, Louie punched a patron in the face
• Louie also attempted to his the patron in the head with a pool stick
• Approached the patron from behind and struck him in the head with a glass mug, shattering the much and causing lacerations to the victim’s head
• Patron taken to Guam Memorial hospital treated for 4-inch gash on his head requiring 13 stapes
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Made false statements to the Guam police
• Obstruct governmental functions
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Lied to the police that patron was choking him when he struck him with a glass mug
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor’s Committee punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 9-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor’s Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Louie.
