Attorney Lawrence Haynes of Jamaica; ethical gnome

The Jamaica Licensing Commission provided Lawrence Llewellyn Haynes with a law license in 1999.

The Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in professional misconduct
• Failed to take steps to prevent injury to client after termination
• Negligence led to the client being deprived of the right of an appeal which may have been successful

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand  and assessed costs of $20,000.00 ($160.00 US). In addition, Larry was ordered to make restitution of $100,000 ($793.00 US) to his client.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Larry practices on Duke Street in Jamaica.
