Attorney Anthony Gifford of Jamaica; slacker, loser

The Jamaica Licensing Commission provided Anthony M. Gifford with a law license in 1990.

The Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in professional misconduct
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide client with updates of status of matter
• Engaged inexcusable or deplorable negligence or neglect

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Tony by ordering that he pay a fine of $1,100,000.00 ($15,620.00 US) and costs of $200,000.00 ($2,840.00.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Tony practices with Gifford Thompson & Shields at 122 Tower Street in Kingston, Jamaica.
