► Federal Judges Appointed by LBJ with snouts still implanted in public trough |
Federal Judges Appointed by LBJ with snouts still implanted in public trough LBJ (Lyndon Baines Johnson) was president from 1963 to Nov 1969. As you’ll see in the textbox below, judges appointed by LBJ who remain on the bench have been porking out at the public trough for at least 43 years.
Federal law allows judges to assume senior status after sitting on the bench for 10 years. The law only requires that senior status judges work 25% of the time (10-hours-a-week) as that of a full time judge.
No other federal worker, including postal workers are provided with this type of taxpayer funded “welfare.”
For the life of me I cannot understand how Congress allowed itself to be hoodwinked into approving this type of outrageous “Judicial Welfare.”
Because these folks are appointed for life, the only way to get rid of them is when they are dressed out for a wooden robe. This is exactly what recently happened to U.S. District Judge Wesley Ernest Brown of Wichita, Kansas who died while still on the bench at 104-years-of-age. Actually, since Wesley was born on June 22, 2007, he was going on 105-years-of-age when he was fitted for a casket.
And Wesley had a close cousin in remaining on the bench until the Grim Reaper arrived in the courtroom. That cousin was 8th Circuit Appeals Judge Joseph W. Woodrough of Omaha, Nebraska. Woody remained on the bench until he his wooden robe arrived at the age of 104 + 30 days (born 8/29/1907, died 1/23/1977).
The textbox below proves the following facts:
I don’t know about you folks, but I wouldn’t allow some judge that was 90 years or older to sit in judgment of me. It is absolutely obscene to know that we can’t rid ourselves of these lifetime porkers.
