Attorney Peter Baskin of Fairfax, VA; ethical elf

The state of Virginia presented Peter M. Baskin with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from George Washington University School of Law.

The Circuit Court Three-Judge panel found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Disbursed funds to himself at time when others claimed right to said funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. July 2019), Pete practices at 10387 Main Street in Fairfax, Virginia.
