Attorney Robert Cheesebourough of Indianapolis; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana presented Robert Cheesebourough with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to attend a mandatory creditor’s meeting in bankruptcy case on client’s behalf
  • Failed to address an issue with part of the client’s Social Security number being transposed on the petition before the estate was closed
  • Failed to file a motion to avoid judicial lien against other creditors
  • Failed to file motion to avoid liens on client’s home and rental property
  • Failed to provide client with update on pending estate matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Bobby practices at 2272 Wynnedale Road in Indianapolis, Indiana.
