Attorney Thomas Vondette of Vancouver, BC; moronic slacker

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Thomas J. Vondette with a law license in 1986.

The Law Society of British Columbia Disciplinary Committee found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to schedule and attend at a Registrar’s hearing to resolve litigation costs
• Failed to ensure that work was done in a timely manner
• Failed to comply with fee agreement by taking legal fees prior to conclusion of representation
• Failed to respond to client telephone calls
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Client deprived of financial benefit of Cost Award for 5 years as a direct result of Tommy’s delay

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Tommy by gifting him a complimentary $3,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Tommy  practices with Timothy J. Vondette Law Corporation at 1125 Howe Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
