Attorney Jack Bowland of Akron, OH; perverted scammer

The state of Ohio provided  Jack Bowland with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Case Western University  School of Law.

In one matter, Jack’s so-called expert witness work on behalf of accused child pornography defendants has created a $300,000 liability for him that cannot be excused in bankruptcy, a federal appeals court has ruled. (Debra Cassens Weiss)

A bankruptcy appellate panel of the 6^th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati ruled against Jack and as a result he’s personally liable for a $300,000 judgment obtained against him by two women whose childhood photos he used to create fake child pornography as an expert witness.

Jack had the chutzpah to download stock photos of children in innocent poses in 2004 and manipulated them to create child pornography. He used his fake child porn as an expert witness for criminal defendants who argued they didn’t knowingly view or possess child pornography. He would then show the before and after images and talk about the ability to alter images with a computer.

During a trial on his shameful conduct, the trial judge ordered Jack to delete the images from his computer after a prosecutor asserted that Jack had committed a crime by creating and displaying the images. Jack subsequently entered into a pretrial diversion agreement with federal prosecutors in 2007 in which he acknowledged creating the images for his trial work.

Jack was later sued by two minors whose photos he used and each was awarded $150,000 in 2011 with the 6^th Circuit affirming the decision in 2012 while rejecting his laughable First Amendment arguments.

And lastly, it should be noted that the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court haven’t taken any action to sanction Jack for his conduct aforementioned despite the fact he entered into a pretrial diversion agreement with federal prosecutors in 2007.

Apparently, in Ohio some crimes committed by attorneys that involve minor children are acceptable. Isn’t Ohio a great country?
