Attorney Mark Williams of Nogales, AZ; moron, repeat offender

The State of Arizona presented Mark Lee Williams with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the Cambridge University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Mark guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Mark’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide competent representation [moron]
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect his client’s rights upon termination
• Refused to provide an accounting to his client
• Refused to refund unearned fees (cheater)
• Incompetent representation led to client being sentenced to 10 years in prison, a sentence that was tossed out by a federal judge after the client claimed ineffective assistance of counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month term of probation.

Mark’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in misconduct involving representation of a federal drug-smuggling defendant
• Misconduct led to his removal from the indigent defendant appointment list as the Santa Cruz County Superior Court by then-presiding judge James A. Soto
• Failed to appear at scheduled hearings on behalf of clients
• Repeatedly tardy in appearing at court hearings
• Made misleading and deceptive statements to the courts
• Engaged in improper contact with victims
• Ineffective assistance and representation of indigent defendants he represented

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment and a 12-month term of probation.

As we speak (ca. January 2019), Mark practices with the Law Office of Mark L Williams at 1071 North Grand Avenue in Nogales, Arizona.
