Judge David Svaren of Mount Vernon, WA; scofflaw

The State of Washington provided Terry M. Tanner with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from Willamette University School of Law.

The Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Svaren guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly solicited funds via Facebook post for charitable organization
• Failed to comply with the law
• Abused the prestige of judicial office to advance personal or economic interests of others

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Judge Svaren by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. December 2018), Davey continues to sit as a Skagit County Superior Court judge in Mount Vernon, Washington.
