Attorney Daniel Cronin of Norwell, MA; ethical leprechaun
The state of Massachusetts presented Daniel F. Cronin with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Boston University Law School.
The Board of Bar Overseers found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

Record keeping of trust account generally inadequate and insufficient

Failed to maintain ledgers for each transaction or an accurate and complete check register

Failed to reference case names or numbers on deposit tickets or on paid checks, making it difficult or impossible to match certain deposits and disbursements

Wrote checks to title examiners and other similar types of creditors combining payments of bills for multiple files, without maintaining any record detailing the amount paid

On numerous occasions made disbursements that didn’t match the amounts shown on HUD-1 settlement statements

Never reconciled his trust account

While acting as informal trustee for elderly client he failed to set up an individual trust account for the client as he was required to do

Engaged in negligent misuse of client funds over a two-year period of time

Failed to maintain a separate, individual interest-bearing account for funds of a client’s living trust that were not nominal in amount or held for a short period of time
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. April 2019) Danny practices with the Law Office of Daniel F. Cronin at 167 Washington Street in Norwell, Massachusetts.
