Attorney Steve Zhu of Shanghai, China; ethical gremlin

The state of Washington presented Steve Zhu with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Hawaii School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Ignorantly advised client with a student visa that he could accept a full-time job, despite immigration law that does not permit students to work full-time
• Submitted application for permanent resident status in Canada without advising Canadian lawyer that he had signed the employer’s signature on the application and not the employer

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with two (2) complimentary reprimands.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Stevie practices with the Allbright Law Offices at 12 F Shanghai Tower, No. 510, Yincheng Middle Road in Shanghai, China.
