Attorney Stephen Carmick of Chehalis, WA; ethical gnome

The state of Washington presented Stephen Thomas Carmick with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with candor while communicating with trial court
• Failed to inform tribunal of all relevant facts he knew during ex parte (one-sided) proceedings involving the trial judge
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications with trial judge, perspective juror or other official
• Communicated with party he knew was represented by counsel w/o that lawyer’s consent

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Stevie practices with The Law Office of Stephen T. Carmick PS at 2156 South Scheuber Road in Chehalis, Washington.
