Newt Gingrich: Today’s “Joseph Goebbels Truth-Teller” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Newt. In the past, he has been the recipient of thirty-three (33) Awards in various categories and the subject of three (3) opinion pieces. FYI: Joseph Goebbels was the quintessential truth-teller during his tenure as the chief purveyor of propaganda for the Third Reich prior to and during World War II.

During a recent appearance on an episode of the Sean Hannity Comedy Hour hosted by the Fox News Comedy Network, Newt decided to secure a few more brownie points from Donald “Trumporleone” Trump and members of the GOP by attacking the Democrats.

Towards that end, Newt and Sean engaged in the following dialogue regarding the sham claim that unnamed Democrats were harassing unnamed GOP officials.

SEAN:

“Will this work in 27 days?” [time to Nov midterm elections]

“Is that their [Democrats] strategy?”

NEWT:

“Well what you're seeing is the emergence in a very real way of a brown shirt party, to use the term for the people who in Weimar Germany went out and literally dominated the streets by brute force.”

The brown shirts was the Nazi Party’s original paramilitary and it played a significant role in Hitler’s rise to power. One of its essential purposes was to intimidate trade unionists and Jews.

So now we have the twin pillars of defamation and ignorance claiming that Democrats are engaged in Storm Trooper type activity in an effort to win seats in the House and/or Senate in the Nov 2018 midterm elections.

And lastly, if any Democrat were to make a comparison of a Republican and/or Donald “Trumporleone” Trump as engaging in Nazi like conduct, Newt and Sean would go nuts in feigning outrage.
