Attorney Tiffany Carroll-Curtis of Houston; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Tiffany Lashon Carroll-Curtis with a law license in 2001 after she graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law.

The District 11^th Grievance Committee found Tiffany guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to promptly comply with client requests for information
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Tiffany by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Tiffany.
