Attorney Phillip Cheves of Albuquerque, NM; lying loser

The state of New Mexico presented Phillip W. Cheves with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Knowingly made false statement of fact to a tribunal
  • Failed to fully cooperate in discovery matters
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2018) Phil practices with Butt Thornton & Baeher PC in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

FYI: As one would suspect, the Butt firm fails to disclose Phil’s misconduct as aforementioned on its self-serving website at http://www.btblaw.com/attorneys. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information so as to not limit its future victim pool.
