Attorney Scott Yu of Chicago; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented Scott I. Yu with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Filed frivolous pleadings in both client immigration matters
• Filed sham pleadings that lacked a meritorious basis in law and fact

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2019) Scotty practices with Scott Yu & Associates, Ltd. at 70 West Madison Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
