Attorney Mary Skinner of Stuttgart, AR; ethical gremlin

The state of Arkansas presented Mary Elizabeth McLain Skinner with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Mary guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file response to complaint filed v. client
• Negligence in responding to complaint led to default judgment being entered against her client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Mary by gifting her with a complimentary caution.  

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Mary practices at 407 South Main Street in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
